Kinshira creates original contemporary circus productions designed for theatres, performing arts venues, and festival main stages across Canada.
Blending circus arts, theatrical storytelling, movement, aerial performance, dance, and immersive visual design, our productions move beyond traditional variety entertainment to create full-length experiences that captivate audiences on a larger scale.
Designed for professional theatre environments and large audiences, these shows typically run between 60–90 minutes, blending immersive storytelling with circus arts to create a unique alternative to traditional theatre productions and festival stage entertainment.

Through contemporary circus and performance art, audiences are immersed into a familiar feeling – the weight of routine, the pressure to conform, and the quiet, persistent pull toward something more.
Reality slips as we’re transported through a portal to the Obsurreal – a world of impossible movement, surreal encounters, and living illusion. Where identities unravel, and transformation is inevitable.

We interviewed local creatives, recording conversations about their most interesting dreams, recurring dreams, and nightmares. What do they mean, and what is their link to the creative subconscious?
These compelling conversations, woven into the audio soundscapes, will be interpreted on stage using theatrics, aerial arts, and acrobatics for a thrilling and immersive ride through the layers of our subconscious.
